Donations for New Program

One of the great things about being able to start a new program is the help we receive from family, friends, church members and our local community. Below is a list of things our classrooms could really use. The church preschool program has THREE NEW classrooms (this is in addition to the classrooms already established) and all of which need to be complete with bulletin boards, toys, school supplies, learning activities, etc. We need your help! If you can make any donation at all, of any size, please contact us so that we may pick them up from you.

Scentsy Buddy "Ollie" Giveaway

One of our teachers, Ms. Breanne, is a Scentsy Consultant. Scentsy has these really cute new "Buddies" that are great for little ones. They are soft, easy to hold and have this special pocket in the back to hold a Scentsy pack making this Lovey sweet smelling.

In honor of the holidays, she is wanting to give away Ollie the Elephant for FREE! Ollie retails for $25 and the Scentsy pack is $7. This is a $32 retail value of Scentsy FREE to you! This would make a perfect gift for your little one at home or even for someone in your family. And you could always save it and give him to a new baby boy or girl.
To enter her contest, reply to this blog with who you would love to give Ollie the Elephant to and why. Advertising

We have officially started advertising! We sent out 1150 flyers today all going into the hands of children and into their homes to their Mommas. My sister laughed at me as I walked out of the school this afternoon dropping them off. I must have been beaming; I am soooo excited! This program has been prayed for before it even began and each day something new falls into place. I look forward to starting this preschool with my dear friends and watching where God leads us. I feel so blessed to have been lead to this new adventure. Our teachers get together weekly and plan, all of us having an opinion and all of us working together in unison and agreeing in the end. Isn't is wonderful to work with friends, Godly women with the same goals and intentions in life? And soon we will have wee ones, tots and preschoolers in our care to walk with and lead down Christ's path. What a blessing they will be!

Stroller Strides - Forney, Mesquite, Rockwall

Moms on a mission... Stroller Strides is not just a walk in the park! We offer a complete head to toe total body workout all while your child comes along for the ride. In addition to a great workout, you can meet some amazing new moms and kids. Our program also offers our Luna Mom Playgroup (at no additional cost) that consists of weekly playgroups after class, monthly moms night out activities and special community events. What do you bring? You, your baby and a stroller. Just about any kind of stroller will be fine, as long as it's not prone to tipping (umbrella strollers are not recommended). We also suggest you bring WATER, baby necessities, bug spray, a hat or sunblock for both you and your baby, and a towel or mat for our ground exercises.

Stroller Strides classes for this area are held on Monday through Friday. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday classes are held at Sunnyvale Town Center Park during the Spring, Summer and Fall at 9am. We move indoors for Winter to Town East Mall and meet on the second level outside of Gymboree at 9am.

Classes held on Tuesday and Thursday are held outside at Harry Myers Park in Rockwall(near Spray Park) at 9:30am. Again, during Winter, we move indoors to the Rockwall ISD gym located at 1050 Williams Street.

We also offer a FREE playgroup called Luna Moms Club. As you know we offer fun playdates, Moms Night Outs, and activities for you and your family and always having a great time with our friends!

Kids Night Out - November 12, 2010

Our first Kids Night Out will be on November 12th from 6-10pm. Children from infants through 6th grade are invited to join us. Dinner will be served, children will be entertained and parents will have the night off to enjoy themselves.... what could be better?!

The cost is $15 for one child, $20 for two children and $25 for three or more children. Registration is not required but always helpful.
