Music Movement is a program for preschoolers that incorporates rhythmic songs and dance in preschool education. The students learn the fundamentals of music through vocal, instrumental, movement and listening skills; all of which are thought to be beneficial in early childhood development. Listening to music facilitates language and helps children learn the various emotions in speech and human behavior. The physical movement involved helps preschoolers with their balance, coordination, self-esteem, body awareness, expressive and creative play, physical health, strength and flexibility. This program starts for children 18 months and older.
